Izzy is now back at Circle of Empowerment, and the nurses are cleaning the pins regularly while her mother learns from them. Izzy’s mother will be trained in all of her cares and ensure independence with the management of her fixator before leaving COE to go home. Her sutures have come out, and her bone growth since surgery has been double what is expected- a sign that her bone and tissues are healthy! Izzy was thrilled to be reunited with her siblings for the first time in over a month! Blessings and thanks to all of you- Izzy wouldn’t be healing and smiling without your help!
